Tuition & Fees – Academic Year 2026-27
While a quality education is invaluable, we know the sticker prices of private colleges can be daunting. To make Hollins affordable, we offer extensive scholarships, grants and financial assistance that are customized to the needs and achievements of our students. On average, students in the 2024–25 incoming class received $41,315 in scholarships and grants.
The annual residential tuition and fees before scholarships, grants, and financial aid are:
| Tuition (14-22 credit hours) | $44,550 |
| Food and Housing (double room and 19 meals per week) | $16,540 |
| Student Fees (Technology, Green, Mailbox fees and Student Government) | $1,080 |
| Total | $62,170 |
Most students at Hollins are enrolled full-time. Students who enroll part-time are charged $1,395 per credit hour and $510 in student fees.
* Comprehensive fees refer to the consolidated costs associated with attendance at the University. Regardless of the enrolled degree program, there are other mandatory fees (noted above) as well as other additional fees that may apply based on course selection or specific program requirements. The total amount due is the comprehensive fee minus the applicable Hollins University 2026-27 annual enrollment deposit plus additional mandatory fees (Mailbox, Orientation or Graduation fees) and other program or course fees.
