- Get to know the Career Center Team and yourself by attending Career Center Programs.
- Attend C3: Career Connection Conference.
- Join a club to build your skill sets, or volunteer in the community.
- Meet with an advisor to start your master resume.
- Apply in September for our First-Year Internship program to intern in Roanoke during your first J-term.
- Find a summer internship/volunteer opportunity that interests you.
- Create a LinkedIn profile and join the Career Center LinkedIn page.

- Attend Career Center Programs and explore possibilities for your major.
- Attend C3: Career Connection Conference.
- Update and review your print materials and social media profiles.
- Continue your internship search and application process.
- Work with the international programs office to explore study abroad options.
- Attend Interview workshop and practice.
- Job shadow an alumna or family friend, or set up an informational interview during school breaks.

Amazing Outcomes
Hanna DeVarona ’21

- Majored in business with a concentration in marketing, and minored in both communication studies and economics. Also earned a certificate in leadership from the Batten Leadership Institute.
- One of Hollins’ most accomplished student-athletes, co-holding multiple swimming records and winning one of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference’s highest honors, the Bonnie Kestner Sportsmanship Award.
- Completed three internships during her undergraduate career, one each on campus with the university’s alumnae relations and athletic departments, and a virtual internship in global communications at The Estée Lauder Companies in New York City.
- After graduation: Is completing a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in communication and marketing at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She plans to pursue a career as a health communication specialist.
